An Unforgettable Trip to Guilin
Last summer vacation, I went on an unforgettable trip to Guilin with my parents. We chose Guilin because we had always been fascinated by its breathtaking natural scenery, especially the unique karst landforms and the clear Li River.
When we arrived in Guilin, the first thing we did was take a bamboo raft along the Li River. The scenery on both sides was like a beautiful ink – wash painting. The limestone peaks rose abruptly from the ground, some looking like animals, some like old men. The water was so clear that we could see the fish swimming freely beneath the raft. It was an amazing experience.
We also visited the Reed Flute Cave. Inside the cave, there were all kinds of strange – shaped stalactites and stalagmites, which were formed over thousands of years. The colorful lights illuminated these rock formations, creating a dream – like world.
In addition to the natural scenery, we tasted a lot of local specialties, such as Guilin rice noodles. The delicious food added a special flavor to our trip.
This trip to Guilin was unforgettable. It not only allowed me to enjoy the beauty of nature but also broadened my horizons. I really hope to have the chance to visit there again in the future.
